As I was headed to bed last night, very late, the thought came to mind that, "I hope this blog does not come across as me seeking a pitty party." So I decided this morning I would just make that disclaimer... no pitty please! My heart's desire is for someone to experience God in a new way through this blog, not to bring any light to myself! I am secure in God's sovereignty (not that I do not ever struggle with it, but I continually rest on the truth). I have come to truly appreciate the refiner's fire.
Let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. And endurance develops maturity of character.
Romans 5:3-4
